The Clubhouse

Discovering Abilities Adult Day Program is a community-focused program for adults with disabilities. Rather than operating solely as a traditional centre-based service, we prioritize active participation in community spaces and opportunities. Our clubhouse serves as a meeting point, sensory room, games space, and flexible environment for group connection and preparation before heading into the community.

Our goal is meaningful community integration. We achieve this through daily programming that builds transferable life skills and supports independence at local recreation centres, libraries, volunteer placements, and other community environments. Discovering Abilities believes that reducing stigma starts with ending seclusion—by engaging fully in the community, learning real-world skills, and creating visibility and inclusion beyond the walls of a program space.
